Dude's Ranch Equine Rescue Center, Inc.  is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization seeking help for expansion money and operational costs. We are at the crest of growth due to the demand for what we do. We are first and foremost a horse rescue.

In our rescue missions, we also educate the public about the horses through natural horsemanship programs and horseback riding tours throughout S.Cal. Our clientele is from 5yrs old to adults of all ages. We try to start kids as young as possible to keep the demand for horses alive. Our childhood memories are everlasting.

75% of our profits from our lessons, camps, and riding tours are returned back to rescuing horses from where ever we find them. Unfortunately, it all takes money to do these things.  As successful as we are, funds are always limited.

Finding a means to an end: Our environment and our country will suffer a great loss if we loose our wild horses and burros from the plains of America. Our responsibility is to save as many wild horses from the slaughter houses as possible.

Our Mission: To educate as many people as possible about horses and our beautiful country. To save as many horse and burros lives as we possibly can so they don't become extinct in the wild. The best goal would be to keep them wild.

Dec 2004, our country lost the battle to save these beautiful animals to politicians and ranchers who didn't think twice about the repercussions that it may have to our environment.

Our Goal:

Dude's Ranch Equine Rescue Center, Inc. takes horses on a local level to help those who need help. The economy is taking a huge nose dive and folks are turning their back on their horses.  We've heard stories of folks turning their horses out into the desert, leaving them to fend for themselves many starving- mostly dying of thirst with no water accessible to them. Domestic horses are not the same as wild horses. They don't know how to take care of themselves in the wild. Most domesticated horses have depended on human care for far too long and are inept to do it alone.

Your donation dollars are even more important!

Horse rescues centers are needed more than ever to succeed.  At D.R.E.R.C. , we do the  best we can with the little funding we have. It is so important for you to send donations.  There is a huge demand for us to do more! Help us spread the word to help stop backyard breeder.  There is huge equine overpopulation in the U.S.  Wild horses and burros are still being round up and posted for adoption.  So many are being held in holding pens awaiting for new lives but none are to be found. The BLM has made plans to euthanize the wild horses and burros they can't place. Too many folks just don't have the resources to support these beautiful equines. They really need to be left in the wild to roam free.

In addition, we would like to know if you are able to help us with a plan of action? We need to find grantors who'll help support our mission.  We are looking for people who put together fundraisers, write grants and to say the least...offer donations.

Is this something you can do?  If you would like to know more info about donations please click here, http://www.dudesranch.com/FosterCareSponsorshipsandDonationInfo.html

Or...Perhaps, you can refer us to someone with resources they can provide to us or a foundation if you can't.

We would love to discuss this further with you.
