Here
is a general itinerary of our camping trips.
We can
customize a camping trip by extending the camp for more
days and/or by changing the locations if you wish.
HORSE CAMPING
The
Plan: To see Los Angeles and our California
coastline like the we were back in the early 20th century- On horseback!!
The
Dates:
You will have to give us a call
for availability.
We will have
sleepover trips going to the Santa Barbara
this summer with some packing trips we can arrange for
you.
If you are interested in
us putting together a special trip for you and your group, please
feel free to give us a call. The itinerary can be a custom
planned trip or we can use the pre-planned trip
below.

Itinerary:
Saturday:
We meet first thing in the
morning on Saturday morning for the ride of the day.
Your horse will be assigned to you according to your
experience. YOU SHOULD AT LEAST BE A NOVICE RIDER. We will
then set out for the exploration of the mountains, the
parks and the roads beyond. We are looking to
connect the trails that will bring us for many miles across Los
Angeles.
In the evening we will set up
camp, settle the horses, have dinner and perhaps
hear a little music before we rest up for the next day.
Weather permitting we may even light a campfire.
Sunday:
Breakfast is
served.
We tack up the horses and head
out for more adventure. Plan to see lots of wildlife and
beautiful views. There are parts of L.A. that you'll feel
transported into another place. Bring plenty of sunscreen,
hiking /riding shoes and lots of fun!!! Ride and
Explore!!
In the late afternoon, we turn
back towards civilization. Ride will end by sunset.
Price:
$525. 00 per
person. Includes guide,
horse and tack, camping gear, 2 meals and park
fees. This will be 2 days of rugged riding and
hiking. Please be sure you are physically able to ride for
long periods of time.
