Lessons
We practice Natural
Horsemanship. It is the basis of all riding
methods. Learn the psychology of the horse
and how the lead role in your relationship between you and the
horse creates a strong bond. The main objective is for
you to be able to communicate with your horse, understand him
and have a balanced seat with good muscle tone and
strength. We will show you the proper development and how
that works in and out of the arena. Our horses are
pretty happy to do almost anything we ask of them. We also
teach bareback riding, English or Western training.
Two hour lesson are
recommended in the beginning. Beginners and intermediate
riders learn everything from the start to finish. You learn
everything from grooming, tacking up, to correct
equitation.

Ok ..so now you've really
done it!!. You got the part to ride in the latest Western
film.... You have to look like a pro and you have absolutely no idea
how to ride??? Well this is for you!!
Let us know your time
frame and schedule and we'll put together a specialized
lesson program for you. You will not only look like you
know what you are doing but look good it!
Training
techniques:
Dude’s
Ranch, E.R.C. trainers have strong knowledge of
herd behavior is interfaced with natural horsemanship teachings.
With a lifetime of experience in handling, riding, owning
and training horses -- as well as showing experience in endurance
riding, jumping, and pleasure disciplines throughout United States,
D.R.E.R.C stays current
on equine training and teaching disciplines and has participated in
many clinics with renowned trainers such as Linda Tellington -Jones,
Pat Pirelli, John Lyons, Monty Roberts, among many
others.
Dude’s Ranch, E.R.C. Inc., offers the
best trail riding, the latest training methods in horsemanship and
the opportunity to save horse lives through sponsorship, purchase
and donations. Seventy
five percent of our proceeds go towards our horse
rescue.
Dude's Ranch Horse Leasing
Program
Horse leasing has become
a popular way to feel like you have a horse of your own. The
concept is to share lease ownership on a compatible horse without
the huge expense and responsibility of owning your own. Come
for a lesson and we can assess where you are in your riding
skills. You can take it from there!
Full
lease- $475.00 month
Includes feed and general
medical care. You take care of the horse and groom use your own
tack. Ride when it's appropriate for you.
Half
lease $425.00 month.
Feed and general
medical care included. You would have to work out a scheduled
riding time with another person.
